Wordpress Orlando Web DesignAt ClicksCrazy.com, we adapt the WordPress CMS to give our Orlando Web Design clients website a custom look with all the great WordPress functionality.

This even means the client may use the different user levels available in WordPress for employees to login to, so they can access certain pages, and change their profiles, etc.

The Problem Created

WordPress likes to tell you when a new version is out. So it displays this annoying message to ALL users when they login, telling them to contact their administrator to update WordPress.

The website administrator than gets slammed with people thinking something is wrong.

Tell Your Web Designer To Do This

1. Open the functions.php file in the theme directory.
2. Add the below code into the functions.php file.

/* Disable Update Notification */
if ( !current_user_can('administrator') )
function wphidenag() {
remove_action( 'admin_notices', 'update_nag', 3 );

What this Does

This code says that if the user logged in is not an administrator, than hide the nagging WordPress update message.

Hope this helps!
